Overview
Willow Lake
West was developed by PK Partners in 2001 as a 54,000 square foot shopping
center located at the northeast corner of West 86th Street and Colby Road in
Indianapolis. The center has received positive coverage in the local news media,
being touted as an example of exemplary suburban architecture in a March 2004
news article. The architecture of the building relates well to the scale of
it's users and consists of a brick façade and simulated slate roofing
with strategically placed tower elements. The center was originally anchored by
Trader Joe's Gourmet Grocery Store, Pier 1 Imports, Starbuck's Coffee, Panera
Bread Company, and McNamara Flower and Gift Shop. It also included several
other unique and enticing national, regional, and local tenants. Willow Lake
West is the most prestigious shopping center on the northwest side of
Indianapolis, and offers great visibility from 86th Street.
